As we maneuver throughout the year, we will share links that we feel are worthy to the cause, perhaps an individual or business that selflessly went out of their way for others, or any other link we feel might bring a smile to your face. Additionally if we find specific items that these shelters are in desperate need of, we will feature them here.
Sub-Projects
Cot Program - Pet Cots are different than traditional pet beds in that they raise the animal off the floor, keeping them free of dirt and bugs while allowing air to ventilate under the cot making it easier for the animal to cool itself. Traditional Cots cost anywhere from $40 to over $100 each. For a donation of just $20, Project Santa will build and donate a cot in your name to either BWAR or BRHS. If you would like to support this project, please mail a check for $20 to:

Rope Donations - Have old climbing ropes? Are they just taking up space in the garage or storage room? Donate them! Go to Diamond Brand Outdoors located on Hendersonville Rd near the Arden/Fletcher border. We're taking old (and new) ropes and turning them into pet toys and leashes. We need your help to spread the word or join the crew and help make these items.
