Raffle Information

Overview

The winter 2015 raffle consists of November and December and features prizes from local businesses here in Western North Carolina. You can only win if you participate. Thank you to our participating donation bin hosts listed on our Drop Off page.

We still accept large items throughout the year that are too big to be taken to a shelter by car. Contact us and we'll be happy to pick them up (items like crates, dog houses, agility equipment, etc). Additionally we have 4 year-round pick up locations listed on our home page.

Pertaining to the list below, on the left side you will notice a set of parenthesis with a number in it, for example (2) ... Certificates. The number tells you how many sets of this prize are available to be won. In the instance of (2) ... Certificates, there would be 2 different Certificates for that vendor available as prizes. Each of the 2 would be a separate prize.

Rules and Regulations

Participants may donate each day in November and December 2015 to acquire a raffle ticket. No more than one ticket per person, per location, per day, can be acquired by an individual (unless through a monetary purchase). At some locations, tickets may be sold for $5 each at the discretion of the bin host (amount of tickets that can be purchased at a time is innumerable).

You do not have to be present to win. Prizes are not refundable for cash. Prizes cannot be sold. Drawings will be held January 14, 2016. Winners will be contacted January 15, 2016 and have two weeks to claim their prize. Identification may be required when picking up your prize. Unclaimed prizes (pet products) will be donated directly to the shelters, (non pet products) will be reused in future raffles or giveaways. Project-Santa is not responsible for damage to any prizes whether in transit, by mail, or otherwise.

Participating locations will provide you with a ticket each day that you donate items. A list of general items needed (new and used) can be found on our Needs page. Additionally tickets can be acquired by (a) purchasing a spay/neuter voucher from either of the two shelters, (b) adopting a pet from either of the two shelters, or (c) scheduling a spay and neuter at a participating vet clinic for your pet. The preceding is only eligible during the months of November and December 2015 and only at participating locations. You will not receive raffle tickets for donating directly to the shelters, though we encourage you to do so.
